2017 Fall Term schedule:

LAN4CB Creative Writing Basics - Learn to write compelling prose from a multi-published author. Short lectures and in-class prompts cover the basic techniques of voice, the five senses, dialog, and much more. Come prepared to write, share positive feedback, and enjoy the supportive company of fellow wordsmiths in this hands-on workshop.

Writers Confrences & Contests


Wordstock 2017 features 103 authors presenting 43 onstage events, pop-up readings, and 15 writing workshops. The festival includes activities for readers of all ages, an extensive book fair with 70+ vendors, local food trucks, and more. Saturday, November 11th, 2017: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Portland Art Museum and neighboring venues in downtown Portland, Oregon.
